President Trump: the power to protect workers
The Worker Notice Act — known as Donnie's Law — is a federal worker safety bill built around one simple idea: injured workers should be told they have rights.
That's it.
Every employer in America would be required to post and provide a short written notice explaining:
the right to file workers' compensation,
the right to contact OSHA,
and the right to protection from retaliation.
Three lines on a piece of paper. Signed at hire. Hung on a wall.
No new agency. No new spending. No complicated bureaucracy. Just the same kind of workplace notice already required for minimum wage and EEOC protections.
This bill exists because millions of Americans are injured every year without ever being told the system has deadlines, protections, or doors they can open before it's too late.
I know because it happened to me.
I'm a U.S. Army Combat Engineer veteran who served twelve years in the Missouri National Guard. I was injured working at The Hershey Company facility in Edgerton, Kansas, after working on concrete floors without anti-fatigue mats. My injury was labeled "not work-related," I was terminated, and I was never once informed of my rights or legal deadlines.
In April 2026, I lost my federal case not because I believed I was wrong, but because the clock ran out before I even knew the rules existed.
That should never happen to another worker in America.
Donnie's Law closes that loophole with one signature and one notice every employee can see before they ever need it.
For decades, politicians, corporations, and institutions have all had the opportunity to fix this. Nobody did.
Not a handout. Not a massive federal program. Just the truth — clearly posted where every worker can see it.
One pen stroke. One signature. One law that could protect American workers for the next hundred years.
President Trump has the opportunity to become the first President in American history to give injured workers a federal right to know.
This is the poster.
One sheet of paper. Eleven by seventeen inches. Posted next to the minimum wage notice already required by federal law. Cost to the employer: under ten dollars. Cost to taxpayers: zero.
What it gives the American worker: their employer's legal duties, the actual filing deadlines, the phone numbers for EEOC, OSHA, and DOL, and a self-check list to recognize when their rights have been violated.
A ten-dollar poster on the wall would have saved my case. It will save millions more.
One pen stroke. One signature. One poster
